Theme park goers recently boarded a ride at Alton Towers, but were floored by who sat next to them. Many were left in disbelief as they enjoyed a summer day out

At this time of year, several people visit theme parks, with Alton Towers being a popular choice for many during the summer holidays. However, some theme park goers were recently left hugely taken aback when someone unexpected sat next to them on a ride.


Footage has gone viral on TikTok after the celebrity was spotted having a blast at Alton Towers, and it left other visitors completely stunned. It seems famous faces can also like the thrill of adventure and heights, as he was seen appearing to have a really good time while enjoying a day out to make the most of the summer.


It comes after handy advice about theme parks was shared. According to an expert, there are easy ways to skip long queues during the school holidays.


Who was spotted?

In a video shared by the account charlikescoasters, you see footage of people on a ride, and over the top, the caption reads: "Swear he plays for England, or something." When you look closely, you then see who's on the ride.

Footballer Jude Bellingham is seen in the clip, and he seemed to be having a really great time. It's clear other people visiting were completely taken aback by his presence though.

The clip has been liked over 90,000 times, and hundreds of people commented too. Many were left in total disbelief.

One said: "Imagine being sat next to Jude Bellingham on a rollercoaster." Another added: "Imagine going to Alton Towers for the day and just casually sitting next to Jude Bellingham on a ride."

A third replied: "Imagine going on a ride, and then seeing Jude Bellingham next to you." Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "I was literally there and saw him."


One more also noted: "Imagine being scared to go on a ride, and then you turn to your right to see THE Jude Bellingham."

There were some who also suggested he's "human", and is "allowed to have fun" like the rest of us. Many hoped he had a good time, and managed to enjoy a day out.

Where is Alton Towers?

If you haven't visited before, Alton Towers is located near the village of Alton in Staffordshire. It lies roughly 41 miles north of Birmingham, and 43 miles south of Manchester.

It's a super popular theme park, being often regarded as one of the largest and most visited in the UK. The website states: "Come to Alton Towers Resort in 2026 and prepare for a thrilliant year at Britains greatest escape!

Based on the footage, it seems like Jude had a great time during his day out. He appeared to make the most of his time at the attraction.
