Barron Trump was spotted whispering something into Joe Biden's ear at his dad's inauguration ceremony - sparking frenzied rumours about what he might have said.

Donald Trump's normally shy 18-year-old son cast a confident figure at yesterday's swearing-in event at the US Capitol, where he appeared at alongside his mother Melania, his brothers and sisters, and a host of big name celebrities, tech millionaires and politicians. Moments after his dad took the oath to become the 47th president of the United States, the teenager met outgoing President Joe Biden. He looked him in the eye and shook his hand - before leaning in to tell him something.

It's not known what he said, but Joe Biden's expression quickly changed from a polite smile to something more serious - prompting a flurry of suggestions from internet users after footage went viral. One clip on TikTok, which has now had hundreds of thousands of views, asked: What did he say??? Viewers poured into comment section to offer their own theories on the exchange. One said: "I don't know what he said but Biden was shocked". One person, appearing to refers to Joe Biden's pardons to has family just a few hours before, suggested Barron had told Biden: "You forgot to pardon yourself". But someone else felt this was not in character for the 18-year-old, and commented: "He would never say anything disrespectful!!!"

In a different video, another TikTok user known as overtimemegan highlighted the moment 6ft 7in Barron took his place at Monday's inauguration - and completely blocked the view of the woman behind him. In the video, the smaller woman is seated directly behind Barron Trump, with his tall frame completely obstructing her view - prompting bemused questions as to who decided the seating plan Over the clip, Megan wrote: "Nobody having a worse day than this woman who had a prime spot until 6ft 7in Barron Trump took his seat."

One person quipped: "This is freaking hilarious." Another added: "Saw that too!" Another commenter simply wrote: "Lol." Someone else chimed in, saying: "She can only see the ceiling."

Though Barron spent the first few years of his adolescence inside the White House during his father's first term, he has tended to avoid the spotlight, and turned down the chance to serve as a delegate at the Republican National Convention. However, he did make an appearance at one of his father's campaign rallies last July, and later appeared on stage during his victory speech on the night of the election.
