Islamic State are regrouping and thats a worry for all of us.
Security experts have been monitoring the militant group as they recruit members across the Middle East and Africa. They have new methods of talking to their acolytes and followers in Europe which are much harder to trace.
Equally terrifying is the threat of far-right thugs competing with militant Islamists in an escalating vicious cycle of extremism. Just yesterday we reported a troubling rise in referrals to the Governments anti-terror scheme, Prevent.
That chimes with warnings today that ISIS-inspired extremists are getting younger, and are radicalised online. Thankfully, for the most part, the plots have been thwarted by European Security agencies.
But the thing about terrorism is that the security forces have to be on top of it every day.
Terror plotters only need to get lucky once.

You wouldnt expect dozens of people to report sickness after visiting a beach with this mark of excellent water quality. But dozens of people have fallen ill.
We dont know if sewage overflow pumped out by rotten water firms is behind this wave of sickness, but the Environment Agency say its at least part of the picture. Andy Burnham has promised to get a grip on water companies polluting Britains waterways, but that will take time.
For now, for the health of your family, its worth double checking the website before you put your faith in the blue flag.
Good on Chris Kamara for sharing the story of his prostate cancer scare.
As he says, nobody likes going to the doctor, but Prostate Cancer UKs risk checker takes 30 seconds and could save your life.
