Tyson Fury has confirmed that Turki Alalshikh is his promoter, having agreed a deal with the Saudi businessman. He confirmed the move on social media and has teased a fight with Anthony Joshua.

On his Instagram story, FUry shared a picture of him and the promoter along with a message reading: "@turki the promotor of the GK. Till I retire."

He shared a second picture, with the caption: "@turki my promotor." A third picture shows him and Joshua facing off with Alalshikh in the middle, with a message: "biggest fight in boxing by a mile."

Fury was a special guest at the White House UFC show on Sunday in celebrations to mark 250 years of American independence. He was spotted wearing a cap that read 'Donald Trump for Prime Minister.

During an interview with UFC broadcaster Jon Anik, he also teased a fight with Joshua. When asked if he had an announcement to make with Zuffa Boxing and UFC president Dana White, he said:

"I think I'm going to let Dana do the speaking, but it is a massive, massive announcement." He was then asked if White would be part of the promotion for a fight against Joshua, he added: "100% potential, yes."

He later added: "I'm very excited for this fight. It's been over a decade in the making. For whatever reason it hasn't happened before. Let's hope it happens right now, very soon."

Eddie Hearn is confident that a fight between Fury and Joshua will take place in the UK in November, and spoke about Alalshik's involvement. "The contract is very clear. It specifically states the fight must take place in the UK.," he told Sky Sports.

"We also understand that Turki Alalshikh is paying for the fight, so if he comes up with a plan to stage the fight somewhere else, there will be a sensible conversation and a renegotiation of that contract if we want to move forward with that.

"The reason that clause was in the contract in the first place was because we all want the fight to take place in the UK. It's the biggest fight in the history of British boxing, and I know there's talk of Las Vegas and stuff like this, but I just think it would be a shame not to stage this fight in Britain.

"The fight will take place really where Turki Alalshikh wants it to take place. However, if that is outside the UK there will have to be another conversation with myself, with Anthony Joshua, and I believe with Tyson Fury, who has the same request in his contract for a fight in the UK."
