The 2025/26 EFL season reaches its climax this weekend as six clubs battle it out for promotion. Over the Bank Holiday weekend, the remaining sides from the Championship, League One and League Two will go head-to-head at Wembley Stadium in their respective EFL play-off finals.
In the Championship, Hull and Southampton secured second-leg victories to clinch their spots in the final, however the Spygate scandal has resulted in Saints being thrown out of the play-offs. As a result, Middlesbrough will now take on Hull at Wembley for a coveted Premier League place.
League One sides Bolton and Stockport kept clean sheets across both semi-final legs as they progressed to the final round, while League Twos Salford and Notts County scraped through with narrow victories. Last-minute tickets are still available for each play-off final, but for those preferring to watch at home, all three games will be broadcast live on one TV channel.
Here's everything you need to know about watching every 2025/26 EFL play-off final.
Championship: Hull vs Middlesbrough Saturday, May 23, 3.30pm KO
League One: Bolton vs Stockport Sunday, May 24, 1pm KO
League Two: Salford vs Notts County Monday, May 25, 3pm KO
Sky's Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle includes at least 215 live Premier League clashes across the 2026/27 season, with more than 1,500 games from the EFL and beyond, plus F1, golf and darts.
This introductory offer saves 384 compared to the standard price, with every package also providing 100 regular channels alongside free Netflix and discovery+ subscriptions.
All three EFL play-off finals across the Championship, League One and League Two will be shown live on Sky Sports. The broadcaster has confirmed it will air the Championship and League One final on both Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football, while the League Two final will be exclusively on Sky Sports Football.
These channels are accessible via Sky TV packages such as the 44 Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle, which delivers full Sky Sports coverage across nine dedicated channels. It also includes more than 135 channels and free subscriptions to Netflix, HBO Max and Disney+.
One thing to bear in mind is that customers must sign up to a 24-month contract to secure this deal, though this grants subscribers access to more than 1,000 EFL and Premier League matches across the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons. Those already on an existing Sky package can add Sky Sports channels from 20 per month.
It's worth noting that Sky states its prices 'may change' during the minimum contract term.
While each club managed their own ticket allocation for the EFL play-off finals, supporters can still purchase official match tickets through an alternative official channel.Tickets for the Championship, League One and League Two finals are still available by booking a VIP and hospitality package through Seat Unique.
While they can vary from day to day, prices generally exceed those of standard match tickets, though they come with additional perks including 'premium' seating and complimentary food and beverage options with certain packages. Tickets for the Championship play-off final currently start at 199 per person, with the League One play-off final starting at 125 per person.
Seat Unique offers a range of VIP and hospitality packages for the Championship, League One and League Two play-off finals. These include 'premium' seats at Wembley Stadium and a range of complimentary food and drink options.
League Two play-off final tickets are the most affordable option, starting at 75 per person. Supporters can select individual tickets or opt for a private box, with certain packages also granting access to exclusive hospitality zones, complimentary matchday programmes and host service.
That said, supporters should be aware that some packages grant entry to neutral sections at Wembley, meaning opposition fans could be present in these areas. Additionally, Wembley Stadium provides a selection of its own hospitality packages with comparable benefits, although many of these have already been snapped up.
