Michael Carrick's first summer transfer window in charge of Manchester United continues to look very promising as the new season moves within sight. His side have already added personnel in key areas but continue to be linked with a host of names.
This summer, United are undefeated in three pre-season outings since suffering defeat to Wrexham in their friendly opener. Carrick & Co drew 1-1 against European champions Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday as Bryan Mbeumo netted his third goal in two games.
However, the Premier League giants are looking to keep levelling up after already adding Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans to their midfield. And Arsenal could provide some timely transfer aid as Mirror Football rounds up the latest rumours coming out of Old Trafford.

The 75million addition of Bruno Guimaraes looks set to have a domino effect at the Emirates Stadium. That's following reports that Myles Lewis-Skelly has been offered to both United and Chelsea this week.
Despite showing great promise as a left-back prospect initially, Mikel Arteta utilised Lewis-Skelly in midfield last term. The 19-year-old made some crucial contributions towards the end of last season as the Gunners clinched the Premier League and made it to the Champions League final.
It just so happens United have a serious need for a new left-back as they search for a long-term successor to Luke Shaw. Newcastle's Lewis Hall has been strongly linked as a candidate for that role, though the Magpies reportedly aren't willing to sell.
Sky's Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle includes at least 215 live Premier League clashes across the 2026/27 season, with more than 1,500 games from the EFL and beyond, plus F1, golf and darts.
This introductory offer saves 384 compared to the standard price, with every package also providing 100 regular channels alongside free Netflix and discovery+ subscriptions.
football.london reported the Lewis-Skelly proposal first, with Arteta seemingly settled on Jurrien Timber, Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie as his left-back options. Chelsea could be a major threat to any plans to sign Lewis-Skelly, too, given he's from London and previously trained at Cobham as a youth.
The teenager would fit United's transfer needs, considering they're understood to be chasing one more midfield option, along with a new left-back prospect. The England international ticks both boxes, though it remains to be seen exactly how much Arsenal want for Lewis-Skelly's signature.
Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho is reportedly open to selling off three names deemed surplus to requirements at Real Madrid. And United could be in the running to capitalise on one or more of those available assets.
According to Spanish publication AS, 'The Special One' has said he wants a squad of 20, plus the currently injured trio of Rodrygo, Eder Militao and Ferland Mendy. However, Mendy is one of those players who could be moved on due to the level of competition at left-back now that Marc Cucurella has arrived.
Mendy has no intention of leaving the Bernabeu, but his injury record has failed to inspire belief in Madrid. Ex-United prospect Alvaro Carreras is the other left-back option believed to be ahead of the Frenchman in the pecking order. If Mendy does change his tune, this could turn United heads.
Eduardo Camavinga is in a similar position and does not want to leave Real. United have been strongly linked with the midfielder in the past and could make use of his talents, given Camavinga has previously proved himself competent in midfield or at left-back.
The other Real name supposedly up for grabs is academy graduate Raul Asencio. However, United aren't currently thought to be actively searching for new faces in central defence.
United have already experienced consistent frustration with Shaw's unavailability due to injuries over the years. For that reason, Camavinga may not be the only name reportedly available for transfer at Real with a genuine chance of joining United this summer.
