Leeds United have been credited with an interest in signing Sassuolo defender Tarek Muharemovic this summer.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Leeds have joined the race to sign the central defender from Sassuolo, but will face competition from some of their Premier League rivals.
The report claims that Sunderland and Bournemouth have also expressed an interest in signing Muharemovic, while Juventus could also have a role to play in a potential deal.
The centre-back recently starred for Bosnia & Herzegovina at the World Cup as he helped his nation reach the last-32 of the competition.
Manchester United are said to be eyeing up a move for Nottingham Forest ace Neco Williams.
The summer transfer window is well underway and United are already being connected with a string of potential new signings to bolster their squad.
BBC Sport report that United are joined by Newcastle in registering their interest in the Wales international, whose contractual situation at the City Ground remains unclear.
Arsenal are interested in re-signing Dinos Mavropanos after the Greece international was relegated with West Ham, reports Nathan Ridley.
Mavropanos, 28, is wanted by several clubs and could be sold as part of a fire sale at the London Stadium.

Orlando Gill has confirmed the existence of a clause in his contract that may just open the door for a move to United. The Paraguay goalkeeper is reportedly on the Red Devils' radar following a string of heroic displays against the likes of Germany and France at the World Cup.
Argentinian newspaper Clarin has reported Gill's current club, San Lorenzo, is in nearly 50m of debt, which could simplify United's job. The outlet also reported Gill has a release clause in his contract allowing him to leave for around 5.2m.
Addressing the matter after returning to Paraguay this month, Gill said: "I cant say yes or no. They told me there is interest, but not a formal offer. I dont want to get carried away. Well sit down and speak with the club to see what is best."
Chelsea are prepared to let Alejandro Garnacho leave this summer and have now set their asking price.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Premier League clubs will need to pay 45m for the winger, while interested sides abroad have been quoted 50m (42m).

Atletico Madrid announced this morning that they have reached an agreement with Sporting to sign Morten Hjulmand.
The Denmark international is signing a five-year contract after passing a medical. Atletico highlight his ability to anticipate, distribute and recover the ball, reading of the game and physical power as what Hjulmand stands out for.
Premier League clubs were credited with an interest in the defensive midfielder, notably Manchester United while Ruben Amorim was still their head coach. Hjulmand, however, has now swapped Portugal's capital for Spain's this summer.

London-based Arabic newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat have reported that the Blues made an offer to sign the Mexico international. Quinones scored against England in their World Cup round of 16 tie at the Aztec Stadium, his third and final goal at the tournament.
The striker scored 37 goals in 35 games for Al Qadsiah last season and is said to be in demand this summer. Quinones won the Saudi Pro League golden boot ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Ivan Toney last season.
Manchester City have announced the signing of Jeremy Monga from Leicester City. The winger moves a day after his 17th birthday and has penned a five-year contract.

Alejandro Garnacho is open to leaving Chelsea, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Roma reportedly want the Argentina international on loan and Garnacho is said to be keen on a move to the Serie A side. Chelsea, however, are only prepared to part with the former Manchester United player permanently this summer.
Ferran Torres has an agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain, according to Sky Italy.
Barcelona are reportedly preparing to let the former Manchester City player leave after signing Karim Adeyemi. PSG are said to be signing Torres to replace Goncalo Ramos, who they sold to Milan earlier this summer for around 60million
A move will only go through once Spain are out of the World Cup, with details still to be defined at this stage. Torres, however, appears to have given them the green light to sign him, with the forward wanting a move to the back-to-back Champions League winners.
Liverpool and Manchester United have contacted Wolverhampton Wanderers about Joao Gomes after a move to Atletico Madrid collapsed, according to Globo.
The latter are said to have had the midfielder on their radar since the start of this year and resumed contact at the end of last season. Their rivals have reportedly contacted Wolves to find out how much they value Gomes.
Atletico agreed to sign the Brazilian for 38million, the same as United were willing to pay for his compatriot Ederson before concerns over his medical complicated matters. That latest delay coincides with the Spanish side turning down Gomes.

Despite it being widely-reported that Ederson to Manchester United is no longer going ahead, The Sun are claiming that it is not completely off yet.
They have stated that United are stressing that three deals are ongoing which would be Andrey Santos, Karl Darlow and Ederson. But that there is a degree of doubt over the latter deal.
There were rumours of Ederson's move to Manchester United being off earlier this month and those look to have proven correct.
The Times have claimed that a knee injury has caused complications in his medical and despite his eagerness to join, United have confirmed to Atalanta that the deal is off.
Some breaking Manchester United transfer news with Fabrizio Romano reporting that their deal with Atalanta for Ederson is OFF.
He has claimed that United changed their plans and the Italian club believe he is fully fit and are ready to welcome him back into their squad.
Former Chelsea midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu looks set to be on the move with Turkish outfit Galatasaray signing him on loan from Burnley.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who has also stated that he will join permanently for 30million (25.6m) if certain conditions are met.
Atletico's La Liga rivals Barcelona are also very active in the market and look to have wrapped up their next signing with a deal agreed for Karim Adeyemi to join from Borussia Dortmund.
