PERCYS LAD (6.30, NAP), who capitalised on a tumbling handicap mark to win at Kempton six days ago, can strike again at Wolverhampton tonight.

At his peak eight-year-old had a rating of 100, on the back of finishing second in the 2020 Horris Hill Stakes and he has proved a profitable handicapper for Daniel and Claire Kubler, winning seven times and placing in another seven.

He had been off the track for nearly two years before this season and his first three starts offered little to write home about. But he finished second off a mark of 85 in June, was a beaten favourite next time at Chester, before holding off Sea Founder to score at Kempton last week off 86.

He reappears quickly under the welter burden of 10st 5lb, including a 4lb penalty, but with the stable in irresistible form and Percys Lad is hard to oppose.

MY OLD MATE (4.08, NB) has been a friend to punters lately and can complete his hat-trick on his return to the all-weather at Lingfield.

Gary and Josh Moores three-year-old gelding showed very little in his first five starts but got his act together over the course of five appearances at Windsor.

After finishing second in a 1m event in June, he won his next two, the latest by four lengths. There is no reason to think he cant maintain that momentum under 7lb claimer Jude Fernandes.

At Chepstow Jamie Snowden can continue to exploit winning hurdler HOPE RISINGS (2.15) lowly Flat rating. Winner of her last two races by margins of five and half and 19 lengths, she hasnt stopped winning yet.
