The NFL has put on an extravagant food selection for fans heading to Levi's Stadium for Super Bowl LX - but the culinary experience doesn't come cheap.

Thousands of New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks supporters have descended on the Bay Area ahead of the Super Bowl XLIX rematch, with the flagship fixture expected to attract 1.3 million visitors. For those lucky enough to have bagged tickets, the NFL has spent the last year working alongside Levi's Stadium's catering operation, sourcing ingredients, refining recipes and crafting presentations that highlight the area's unique food culture.

The luxurious menu features innovative twists on traditional stadium food, with high-end steaks, burgers, hot dogs and drinks available at the concession stands.

The Gilroy Garlic Steak Frites, consisting of seared California hanger steak served with a decadent au poivre sauce, crisped Gilroy garlic and pink peppercorns, is priced at 27.

Elsewhere, the Chinatown Dog provides a char-grilled footlong all-beef frankfurter topped with Chinese hot mustard, char siu pork, sriracha and shredded yellow daikon, selling for 16 each.

Those looking for something more filling can attempt The LX Hammer Burger, a massive construction boasting melt-in-your-mouth braised bone-in beef shank, roasted mirepoix demi-glace, and Point Reyes blue cheese fondue served in a house-baked brioche bun. But the price tag is equally eye-watering - a staggering 132 ($180).

For seafood enthusiasts, the menu features a 30 ($40) portion of Dungeness Crab Potachos, served with Kennebec potato chips and a rich Petaluma white cheddar fondue sauce.

On the dessert front, fans can treat themselves to the 22 ($30) San Fran Sticky Roll - a house-made sourdough cinnamon roll drizzled with white chocolate mascarpone crme anglaise and finished with spun sugar. Another option is the Fog City Frozen Irish Coffee - a blend of vanilla bean ice cream and cold brew mixed with Irish whiskey and garnished with an ice cream cookie sandwich.

The beverage selection is similarly lavish, with beers priced from 12.50 ($17) for an American canned lager and 14 ($19) for a premium option. Wine by the glass costs 12.50.

Featured cocktails include the 17 ($23) Halftime Show watermelon margarita and the "Pier 39" Paloma, made with agave syrup and ruby red grapefruit juice. Those opting for a double will pay 26.50 ($36).

Super Bowl LX will have 40 executive chefs working in the kitchens and a hospitality staff of 2,500 ensuring guests are properly looked after on match day.

Around 10,000 hot dogs, 1,000 loaded footlong dogs, 2,000 pounds of prime beef tenderloin, and 1,500 pounds of local Dungeness crab will be available to feed hungry football supporters at Levi's Stadium. The Seahawks are heading into Super Bowl LX as the 4.5-point favourites against the Patriots, setting up a second championship face-off between these two teams.

Seattle will be keen to even the score after their 28-24 loss to New England in Super Bowl XLIX back in 2015.
