Darts fans will be given the chance to take on Luke Littler in a new Netflix show which is offering 501,000 to anyone who can beat the world No.1.

Littler may only be 19 years old but he is already well established as the best player in the world - and one of the best of all time. His victory over Gerwyn Price in the World Matchplay final on Sunday night saw him continue his utter dominance of the sport and set new records.

Littler won 18-9, claimed 225,000 in prize money and broke Phil Taylor's long-standing records for the highest average across the tournament and in the final. He has now claimed 3,143,500 over the PDC's two-year order of merit - and now is ready to give an everyday player the chance to pocket some serious cash.

The Nuke will step up to the oche and take on pub players, with Netflix putting up a gigantic prize to anyone who can achieve the impossible. 'Beat Luke Littler' will be aired live on the streaming giant on October 30 and will include regional heats in Manchester and London in September before 20 competitors take on Littler in a single leg.

"Everyone thinks they can beat me," Littler said. "Now they get a chance to prove it. Bring it on."

A statement from Netflix read: The rules are simple: one night, one chance, and one perfect leg of 501. If an amateur can defeat darts prodigy Luke Littler, they will walk away with a life-changing 501,000.

Produced in partnership with the PDC, the governing body behind professional darts, the show will be rooted in the authentic world of competitive darts, bringing the sports electric atmosphere live on Netflix.

To kick off the launch, Netflix has officially opened the nationwide recruitment search to find the 20 competitors brave enough to step up."

Littler is operating on an entirely different level in darts, having won the World Championship, UK Open, Premier League and the Masters already in 2026. He's earned 2.13m more than world No.2 Luke Humphries in the current PDC cycle and believes there's still room for improvement.

I can still get better, he said in Blackpool after beating Price. I can get a lot better. Through the matches, I was up to a 120 average at one point and I didnt make it stick. Maybe in a few years time I will stick it and go up to a 120 average.

At the minute Im playing some of the best stuff and Ive just got to keep it there The main goal was to win every major once. I dont know how many years are left in me. Were still only two and a half years into my professional career. Its far from done.

Price, who averaged an impressive 104.97 in the final but was still way off Littler's standards, issued a warning to potential competitors. "Luke is one in a million, I threw everything at him," the Welshman said.

"He's fantastic for the sport. I wish he wasn't as good as he is - I would have won a couple more tournaments. I hope there's no-one else like him coming through because he's ridiculous!"
