Whether you love or hate him, Conor McGregor's world is rarely dull. The UFC icon has not fought since he broke his leg in the first round of his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in 2021.

The Irishman has not won a fight since he knocked out Donald Cerrone more than six years ago, but has always insisted he would return. His fans have had a long time to wait but their prayers could be answered at UFC 329 in Las Vegas, with Dana White, who has been in talks with McGregor, saying: "It's looking good."

Away from the Ocotgon, McGregor has expanded his business interests, been involved in high-profile court cases and got married to long-term partner Dee Devlin. Here's a round-up of some of the wildest moments from the 37-year-old's life...

Fans spot 'sex act'

McGregor sent fans into a frenzy by posting what appeared to be a video of him receiving oral sex on his yacht. In 2022, he was holidaying around the world on his luxury yacht with his then-fiance, Devlin.

During the jaunt, he posted both a video and an image that fans suggested was taken while he was being pleasured. McGregor posted an image of himself leaning back with the bottom half of his body cut off. The caption read: "If you're getting it, get it top floor of the triple deck."

A deleted video also appeared on his story and was captured by fans that appeared to briefly show Devlin's head before panning to the sensational sea view from the top deck of his boat.

Fans were quick to spot the posts and added their theories in the comments section, with one fan writing:" Did Conor McGregor really just post himself getting head on IG story?" One fan agreed: "He also posted a picture with no pants, with a caption suggesting it. It's pretty clear what he was doing."

Throwing cans

McGregor lived up to his 'Notorious' nickname by copping a huge fine for hurling cans at Nate Diaz during a press conference for their rematch in 2016. After McGregor turned up late, Diaz stormed off the stage before returning with ammunition.

When he did turn up, Diaz launched a bottle of water at McGregor, who returned fire by chucking energy drink cans in his direction. McGregor was fined 118,000 for his part in the altercation and ordered to carry out 50 hours of community service.

Invading cage and slapping official

In 2017, McGregor managed to grab the headlines during a fight he wasn't even involved in. Attending Bellator 187 in Dublin, McGregor stormed the cage to celebrate training pal Charlie Wards knockout of John Redmond.

When referee Marc Goddard stepped in to remonstrate with him, McGregor pushed the official away and then slapped a Bellator official. He was eventually led out of the cage and later apologised for his actions, admitting he was "out of line" having got carried away by his friend's performance.

Steel dolly tirade

Ahead of Khabib Nurmagomedov's UFC lightweight title fight against Al Iaquinta at UFC 223, the Russian legend and his team angrily cornered Artem Lobov, a friend turned enemy of McGregor, who then went looking for payback.

Accompanied by around 20 men, he ran up to a bus, which was transporting a group of fighters back to their hotel following a promotional event in New York, and threw a steel dolly at its windows.

The missile shattered the glass, causing injuries to Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg, who were pulled from the card as a result. McGregor was arrested and pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was ordered to complete five days of community service and undergo an anger management course.

Punching old man

McGregor was involved in another altercation that saw him punch an elderly man in a Dublin bar. The attack took place after the man refused a shot of the McGregor-endorsed Proper Twelve whiskey.

McGregor landed a left hook to the side of the man's head, who impressively remained conscious after taking the blow. McGregor was convicted of assault and fined 842.

Breaking fan's phone

Months after his crushing defeat to Nurmagomedov, McGregor was arrested for strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief in Florida.

According to the police report, a fan was taking pictures of McGregor, who responded by knocking the phone out of his hand, stamping on it and walking off with it. A civil lawsuit was settled out of court.
