Emma Raducanu has already hinted at when she plans to call it a day, despite only recently turning 23. Raducanu exploded onto the tennis scene with her stunning victory at the 2021 US Open when she was just 18.
Since then, her career has been a rollercoaster ride, packed with a few highs but also some crushing lows. Injury troubles have proven to be Raducanu's greatest obstacle, with the British star enduring one setback after another.
Coaching changes have followed along the way, but after reaching the final at Queen's earlier this month, Raducanu heads into Wimbledon, which starts on Monday, with renewed confidence. How long she will remain at the top level remains to be seen.
According to Raducanu herself, her playing days will be drawing to a close in 10 years' time. That revelation came during an interview with Grazia, where she said: "I'll probably be retiring and hopefully proud of the career I've had in tennis, but also extremely excited for another career.

"I know tennis is one chapter of my life, and it's such a huge part of my current identity, but I have a lot more than just tennis ahead of me.
"I can't wait to delve into another chapter, and to think that my life really starts in my 30s is exciting, even though I will have had a whole tennis career by then."
Raducanu has previously said she didn't see herself playing into her 40s like Serena Williams. But retiring in 10 years would see her hang up her racket at just 33.
Raducanu has teased what life after tennis might look like, with reports suggesting she could pursue a career in banking once she hangs up her racket. Raducanu has already hinted at the career path she'd like to pursue after tennis, revealing she'd be working in finance were it not for tennis.
Speaking following the announcement of a partnership with HSBC, she said: "To partner with HSBC is so natural for me having grown up playing in the HSBC Road to Wimbledon and having been a customer for many years. If I wasn't a tennis player, I would definitely want to work in finance so I'm excited to learn more about the industry in the years to come.
"We are working on some really cool ideas and I'm particularly looking forward to working on initiatives that help young people, such as financial education, but watch this space."
For now, all eyes turn to Wimbledon for Raducanu, who faces Croatia's Antonia Ruzic in round one on Monday. Having battled injury setbacks earlier in the season, protecting the ranking points accumulated at the 2025 Championships is vital for her position in the WTA standings.
