Kev in Emmerdale could be framed for a robbery at the caf, fans believe.
The latest episode of the ITV soap saw someone breaking in to Lewis Barton and Nicola King's establishment, and trashing the place. Money was stolen too, while it happened moments after Kev Townsend had vowed revenge on Nicola.
Nicola and Kev have been feuding over Kev's son Lewis Barton. Nicola, like Lewis' brother Ross Barton, wants Kev gone, while Lewis is keen to get to know his father.
So when the end of the episode saw someone stealing from the caf, some fans wondered if Kev had returned to crime. But the stronger theory was that it wasn't Kev at all.
Viewers think that he is innocent, and someone else was the culprit. Another theory is that whoever did rob the caf is trying to set up Kev, to get him out of the way.
Taking to social media, one fan said: "After that ending, who else thinks it's cry wolf time again! (aka i don't think it was Kev)." Another fan wrote: "I wonder who is it that broke into the Cafe, I guess it's Ross framing Kev?
"Although probably could easily be Nicola as well, don't think it's Jimmy." A further comment said: "I don't think it's Kev either too obvious, unless he's double bluffing?
"My bet is Nicola or maybe Mack trying to make it look like it's Ross to cause more drama." Another post said: "I do think they're trying to make us think Kev is robbing the cafe at the end though but I'm not convinced its him as he's meant to have changed.
"I think Nicola might be targeting him to get rid of him." Meanwhile new spoilers have teased more drama ahead next week on the ITV soap.
Mack Boyd has found out that Ross is the father of Charity Dingle's baby daughter Leyla, while of course Sarah and Jacob Sugden currently believe they are Leyla's parents, with Charity being their surrogate. Next week, Mack takes revenge.
He asks Ross to help him at the farm, and soon an argument breaks out and they end up physically fighting. Things take a sinister turn when Mack shoves Ross over the edge of the barn's mezzanine. But will he survive?
Back in the village, Vanessa Woodfield is questioned over her former flame Dr Todd. Officers tell her a serious allegation has been made against her ex, Todd. But could this be a massive hint that Vanessa is the killer?
