Grantchester season 10 cast: Full list of guest stars and actors for new series

Grantchester is back with series 10 and has added fresh new faces from Line of Duty, Shameless and Holby City to the cast list

Rishi Nair chats about filming tenth series of Grantchester

Grantchester is back for its 10th series, with Robson Green and Rishi Nair reprising their roles as DI Geordie Keating and Reverend Alphy Kottaram, alongside a host of guest stars.

For the second to last series, confirmed last year as the show's final season, ITV has introduced several new faces. These include Maggie O'Neill, known for her roles in Shameless and EastEnders, playing Mavis Andrews, and Neil Stuke from Silk taking on the role of Reg Wait.

The second episode will see Holby City's Guy Henry and Line of Duty actor Maya Sondhi appear as professors, while Christie Russell-Brown joins the cast for all six episodes as librarian Meg Grey.

As always, these guest stars join a solid line-up of permanent fan favourites. This includes Robson Green, who has been part of the show since it began, as DI Geordie Keating, and Rishi Nair, who took over the role of vicar from Tom Brittney in series nine.

Viewers may recognise Rishi from Hollyoaks, where he played Sami Maalik, as well as from his roles in Whitstable Pearl and The Marlow Murder Club, reports Cambridgeshire Live.

Robson and Rishi will be joined by a number of returning cast members, including Al Weaver as Leonard Finch, Tessa Peake-Jones as Mrs. C, Kacey Ainsworth as Cathy Keating, Oliver Dimsdale as Daniel Marlowe, Nick Brimble as Jack Chapman, Bradley Hall as DC Larry Peters and Melissa Johns as Miss Scott. And while the main cast are well established, here's what you need to know about this year's guest stars and new faces.
