Junior Andre eyes up major ITV presenting role with sister Princess after reality show success

Junior Andre has his eyes on the prize of an ITV presenting role after appearing on his sister's reality TV series on the channel. The son of Peter Andre and Katie Price admits music is his passion, but after a three-year hiatus, he is also ready for another challenge.

The 21-year-old star has admitted he would be vey keen to bag a role on Love Island. Happily coupled up with Jasmine Orr, 25, Junior wants his role to be dishing the dirt rather than creating it.

And while he isn't eyeing Maya Jama's job on the main series, he does believe he would be well suited to a spin-off role. He admits he would love to host the popular Aftersun edition.

Speaking to The Sun, Junior said "I kind of like pushing myself and pushing my limits and boundaries and trying new stuff as well. Id love to host a couple of shows.

Something like Love Island Aftersun, even me and Princess have spoke about that. Thats something that we would probably want to do together. Thatd be quite fun."

He told the publication he finds it "natural" to carry out the task and says being in front of a camera doesn't faze him. Junior said such positions are good for him as he enjoys to feed off the energy of others.

He recently presented the UK's Top Influencer Awards in Newcastle. He took to the stage with Jasmine and said it was an amazing experience. Prior to the ceremony, he told the Mirror: "It's really nice that we get to do this together.

"We can kind of fall back on each other if we need to. We bounce off each other really well. Its the first time we are doing anything like this together. We're looking forward to it, but we're not scared, we're happy. We're feeling positive about it."

As well as his presenting dreams, Junior is hoping to get his dreams of singing back up and running. He took to the stage in an eclectic line-up including Professor Green and Dappy during the UK Hair and Beauty Awards ceremony at the AO Arena in Manchester.

Explaining a career in music is "all I've ever wanted," he insists the setbacks were difficult, but he feels they have now passed.

His new tune Goosebumps is out soon and he says he plans to keep going with his releases. And he says he will be trialling new styles as he enjoys his career.

"Im now moving in a positive direction," he said. "Getting my new single Goosebumps out soon and then just will be giving the people more and more music."
