Kelly Clarkson continues to be absent from her hit show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, as a host of stars take over the reins as talk show host.

The singer and presenter has been taking a few days off during late February and early March and this week isn't any different. The previous episodes saw the likes of Marvel star Simu Liu and comedians Roy Wood Jr and Wanda Sykes fill in the Since U Been Gone singer's shoes.

On March 10 and 11, actress and model Brooke Shields will host the widely-loved programme. Sunday Today anchor Willie Geist will be hosting on Wednesday while model and actress Molly Sims will close the week as a guest host on Thursday and Friday. Fans will also get to see a huge line-up of guests.

The White Lotus star Patrick Schwarzenegger, Amanda Seyfried, Smokey Robinson, Bridgerton's Simone Ashley, Joshua Jackson, Kneecap's Michael Fassbender, and the four winners of the newest series of US The Traitors will be on the show to discuss their latest projects.

Fans were missing Kelly but shared their love for the guest hosts in the comment section of the show's Instagram page. One said: "A great lineup. Have missed Kelly on the show recently, hope she is well and enjoying her well deserved break," and another added: "Oh bless Kelly. I love seeing everyone rallying you dont owe us an explanation!! Take care of yourself, sweet girl. I sure hope everything is okay."

As Kelly has yet to reveal the reason behind her absence and fans have been concerned, one viewer tried to reassure others and said: "Hey yall, you all need to understand this: kelly does not owe anyone an explanation for her absence. yall can worry all you want, she doesnt have to tell anyone whats going on, IF theres anything going on."

When Barbie star Simu introduced the chat show last week, he explained to confused fans: "Before we get things started, I do have a confession to make. I am notKelly Clarkson. I know this may shock many of you. But Kelly was not able to make it today, we're sending her our very best."

He added: "Here's the thing, I did not know that I was doing this until five minutes ago when I arrived here to promote my new movie Last Breathso I'm here now, and I'm not one to back down from a challenge," later interviewing his co-stars from the movie as well.
