This Morning host Craig Doyle has made a rare confession about his home life with his wife and children.
The Irish presenter is a proud father to four children, Elsa, born in November 2010, Muireann who was born in 2005, Milo who was born in 2007 and their oldest Quinn. Craig shares his kids with wife Doon who he married in 2002.
On Tuesday (August 18) Craig appeared on This Morning alongside co-host Angela Scanlon and discussed the latest news with guests Ashley James and Nick Ferrari.
And the conversation soon turned to the topic of social media and the effects it has on children. Craig declared: Our kids wont come off it, unless we come off it.
Craig then said: Im not on any social media. I have been for two years and its made my life so much better. More time, more freedom you just dont worry about as much stuff and you dont have that anxiety that comes with it.
Nick asked Craig: Are your kids off it too? He replied: We monitor it a bit more but they dip in and we try and pull them back. Its hard.
Craig usually keeps his personal life low-key. However, he previously spoke to Belfast Telegraph about his children and explained: Id have a whole bundle if it were up to me I love kids.
Doons full-time with them. She keeps the ship rolling; shes amazing. I go to work but Im really only doing my hobby. She has a hell of a lot more patience than me.
He has known his wife Doon for several years and the pair met while she was working part-time in a gym before she started college.
Speaking to RT about how they met, he revealed: I was home in Ireland just before I started on Tomorrows World and a mate of mine said to me Doyler! Ya gotta meet this bird! I tried my heart out with her but it isnt happening.
She was working in the gym part-time before she started college and I went along to the gym. I didnt even have gym gear with me. I had a pair of shorts and a pair of shoes, I looked like a kn*b and I met her and I thought holy god!
He added: We were on our third date, the kissing date, and we were in Greystones and we had a drink and we were out walking and as I left, I shook her hand. Complete nerd.
She looked at me like I was a real tw*t and said that was the kissing date. Why didnt you kiss me? I was scared. I fancied her you see.
This Morning airs Monday to Friday at 10am on ITV1
