Brand new shows are hitting the screens this week - and they're bound to keep you hooked.

On ITV, Stephen Mulhern challenges a string of celebrities to take part in mind-boggling challenges in a new game show. Meanwhile, on 4, The Great British Bake-Off returns for a new season.

The BBC is introducing a new thriller with Eve Myles and Gabrielle Creevy titled The Guest, set to explore the dangers of dysfunctional friendships - the result is chilling.

Finally, Jenna Ortega reprises the role of Wednesday Addams in Netflix's hit series as the straight-faced character continues to search for a way to save her friend Enid from an impending death. Get the lowdown on all the shows you need to keep an eye on.

Stephen Mulhern is hitting the road with his game show, and hes taking a host of celebrities along for the ride.

Holly Willoughby, Zoe Ball, Rylan Clark, Judi Love, Oti Mabuse, Johnny Vegas and Josh Widdicombe are among the famous faces joining Stephen at locations around the UK as they attempt to predict which plucky members of the public can complete their challenges or not.

Each challenger, whether trying a quirky skill or an adrenaline-fuelled mega stunt, is competing for the weekly title of You Bet champion, and a 5000 cash prize.

More than a decade after the first series was broadcast, cameras are returning to Thornhill Community Academy in Dewsbury for a fresh look at the students and staff of the Yorkshire secondary school.

English teacher Mr Burton is now Head Teacher, and along with his new team he is facing challenges at every turn, from a national attendance crisis and the impact of social media on his students to a rise in teenage anxiety and difficulties in recruiting new teachers at a time when nearly a third leave the profession within five years.

Of course, there are new students to meet too, and there are a host of memorable characters walking the halls who are bound to become viewer favourites.

Its time for a fresh batch of wannabe cooks to enter the iconic tent and present their bakes on the gingham altar to be inspected by the judges, with all of them hoping they get a Hollywood handshake while praying they arent criticised for their soggy bottoms.

Once again Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond are on hosting duties, while Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood are the experts casting their eyes over the signature challenges, technical bakes and showstoppers in each episode. Spin-off show An Extra Slice , presented by Jo Brand and Tom Allen returns on Friday evenings.

Davina McCall presents this new dating show in which 12 singles looking for long lasting love head on honeymoon with someone they have only met for five minutes at a speed date.

Each of the six couples are stranded on remote tropical beaches and have to learn to collaborate and communicate with their new partners to get by as they are faced with the shows surprise challenges which are bound to be more taxing than just who remembered to bring the suntan lotion.

Long Lost Family: The Mother and Baby Home Scandal

A special edition of the tearjerking reunion series, broadcast over two nights. Presenters Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell look at the scandal of the Mother and Baby homes that dealt with the problem of unmarried mothers in the UK during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

As campaigners demand an apology from the government following mounting claims of cruelty at the homes, the hosts help some of the mothers who were pressured to give their children up for adoption, reuniting families that have been heartbreakingly separated for decades.
