Denise Welch 'deletes' photos from son Matt Healy's wedding after sharing private snaps

Loose Women star Denise Welch shared a reel of behind-the-scenes snaps from son Matty Healy's star-studded LA wedding to model Gabbriette Bechtel before appearing to delete them from her Instagram account.

Loose Women star Denise Welch took to her Instagram page on Friday (July 24) to give fans a glimpse into her son Matty Healy's glamorous Los Angeles wedding as he married American model Gabbriette Bechtel, 28. She shared a series of intimate snaps posted to Instagram. However, the 68-year-old from Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear, appears to have swiftly removed the content - with the reel now appearing absent from her profile.

The 1975 lead singer Matt, 37, wed his beloved on Saturday, July 168, 2026, at the iconic Castillo del Lago estate beneath the twilight glow and Hollywood sign. The doting mum's collection of images captured numerous memorable highlights.

Denise showcased stunning photographs of herself in her principal ensemble, a rose pink strapless floor-length number boasting extravagant, voluminous puff sleeves courtesy of Solace London.

Another snap depicted her standing beside Matty while clad in a figure-hugging black frock.

The photographs disclosed that Gabbriette donned a vintage-style white long-sleeved gown during the vows before switching to an unconventional evening ensemble comprising a white suit paired with a top hat.

Denise additionally shared an image of bespoke wedding T-shirts bearing the couple's photographs and the word "Gabbrietty" splashed across the chest.

The exclusive behind-the-scenes shots featured Denise mingling with a constellation of celebrity pals, including pop sensation Charli XCX, radio presenter Nick Grimshaw, model Alex Consani, and Coronation Street actress Sally Dynevor.

The collection also featured snaps of Denise alongside her husband, Lincoln Townley, as well as heartwarming family photographs officially welcoming Gabbriette's parents, Gary and Chayo Bechtel, into the fold.

Denise described the celebration as a night she will "never forget," declaring that the newlyweds are completely "made for each other."

Yet, it appears the sole remaining photograph on Denise's Instagram is now of her principal gown for the ceremony.

She wrote beneath the post: "My dress for my son Matthew's wedding to Gabriella. The happiest time of my life."

Numerous fans were swift to comment, telling Denise she looked "stunning', including fellow ITV star Amanda Holden and fellow Loose Women star Ruth Langsford."

Meanwhile fellow TV presenter Vanessa Feltz gushed: "You look magnificent!"
