Over the last few years, Zara Tindall has become the unofficial sunglasses influencer for the Royal family. The royal and equestrian has been setting some serious trends when it comes to eyewear, but theres one pair in particular that she falls back on time and time again; her Tavistock sunglasses from Finlay.
Zara has worn these exact sunnies everywhere from Wimbledon to Ascot and thats just this summer. Over the years shes also been spotted at Cheltenham races, not to mention several other big occasions and off-duty moments, with her most recent outing in the sunglasses happening just this week at the FEI World Championships in Germany.

Zaras constant re-wearing of the Tavistock sunglasses proves just how easily they can be styled with almost any outfit for any occasion. For the gala portion of the FEI World Championships, she paired them with an elegant tailored black dress, whilst at Ascot she teamed them with a butter yellow midi dress and matching hat.
For Wimbledon, she wore them with a more laid-back blue and white striped shirt dress and loose curls, proving theyre the ultimate all-round accessory. As well as their timeless shape, which is a reimagined version of a classic 1960s silhouette, one thing that makes them so versatile is their colour.
The Tavistock sunglasses are made with Italian Mazzucchelli acetate, and each pair is handmade for a more high-end feel. The lenses are also made from Zeiss, which is a world-renowned brand specialising in lenses which have top clarity, advanced anti-reflective coatings, and full UVA and UVB protection.
Although they come in eight different shades, Zaras go-to is the champagne colourway, which features a clear frame in a warm beige colour, with graduated tan lenses. This makes the Tavistock sunglasses chic and elegant in their own right, whilst being able to wear them with any colour and outfit style.
Finallys sunglasses have become a major royal favourite, with Zara also wearing the light tortoise version of the brands Archer sunglasses , which have a more rounded shape. The Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, on the other hand, has worn Finlays Vivian sunglasses in the marble colourway, with all three pairs of glasses costing 160 each.
Another pick of Princess Kates are the Wayfarer Folding Classic sunglasses from Ray-Ban, which cost 171. The glasses fold up into a neat little square, making them handy for events where you only have a small bag with you.
