Matthew Goode is another troubled, abrasive sleuth for crime fans to pore over in a plush new series from writer/director Scott Frank, who previously brought us Godless and The Queens Gambit. This one isnt quite as distinctive as those two, since its a UK-set crime drama thats basically Slow Horses for homicide detectives.

Goode plays Carl Morck, a brilliant investigator with PTSD and some seriously lacking interpersonal skills, leading a motley crew of outcasts whose Edinburgh office is in a dank basement and who take on cold cases nobody else wants.
