What happens when we die is just one of many issues tackled in this fantasy comedy. When Eleanor (Kristen Bell) wakes up in the afterlife, shes shocked to find shes in a selective suburban paradise, created by Michael (Ted Danson). He claims its her reward for living a good life, but Eleanor knows shes been very bad, so must have been sent there by mistake.

Danson steals scenes with ethereal ease, but its the twist in the tale (and a strong supporting cast) that makes this unmissable.
