How do I know what session level to attend?

All sessions are available to anyone; however, finding a session that best matches your role, industry, product, and learning level will ensure the content is relevant and most applicable to you.

Learning Levels:

Beginner
Beginner-level sessions are content that is suitable for users who are new to the product or topic. These sessions may cover foundational concepts and skills and are designed to provide an introduction and get participants started with technology.

Intermediate
Intermediate-level sessions assume general knowledge of the topic and provide a technical deep dive into a product, service, or use case. The content focuses on features, functions, and benefits of a product or service, showcasing how the product or service can be used and integrated with other offerings. Sessions will sometimes feature customers.

Advanced
Advanced-level sessions assume proficiency in the topic and typically cover in-depth content covering complex, enterprisewide use cases and strategies for the product or service, focusing on advanced features, techniques, and architectures that require significant expertise to implement. These sessions prepare participants to serve as strategic mentors and lead complex, cross-functional projects.

What session resources will be available after the event?

Registered attendees can visit the Sessions page or login into view their Event Recap after the conference to find select presentation materials. Limited episodes will also be available on demand on Salesforce+.

How do I add sessions to my agenda?

You can manage your agenda directly from the Sessions or My Agenda page. When browsing, you will see three primary options to help you build your perfect Dreamforce experience:

  • Reserve a Seat: This secures your spot and guarantees space, provided you arrive at least five minutes before the start of the session. This applies to certifications, roundtables, workshops, and hands-on trainings.
  • Add to Agenda: These sessions are first come, first seated. Add these to your agenda to keep track but make sure you arrive early to secure your seat.
  • Favorite: Use the heart icon to "favorite" sessions you are interested in. This is a great way to build a personal watchlist of content without committing to a specific slot.

Managing your plans:

  • View your schedule: Access all your reserved and added sessions in My Agenda.
  • AI Recommendations: Browse personalized session recommendations directly on your My Agenda page to find content tailored to your interests, registration data, and goals.
  • Drop-in Only: If you see Drop-in Only, it means the session is at capacity for reservations. However, limited seats are often available onsite on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to favorite the session and arrive early.
  • Experiences: To browse other campus activities, head to the Experiences page and "favorite" the items you want to drop in on during your visit. These favorites will show up under your calendar on the My Agenda page.

Is there reserved seating at Dreamforce?

Yes, Dreamforce will have reserved seating for certifications, roundtables, workshops, and hands-on trainings. Reserving a seat for a session guarantees there will be space for you in that session, as long as you arrive at least five minutes before the start of the session.

If a session you want to attend no longer has seats available to reserve, you may still be able to attend by showing up early and joining the drop-in line.

For all other sessions that do not offer reserved seating, please plan to arrive early to secure your seat on a first-come, first-served basis.

Whos speaking at Dreamforce?

Browse the Sessions page for all the sessions and speakers presenting.

How should I prepare for my sessions?

Build Your Agenda: Visit the My Agenda page to review your schedule and explore AI-powered recommendations. Use the Sessions page to browse more than 1,600 sessions and reserve seats for roundtables and hands-on trainings. Explore Trail Maps for curated sessions and experiences tailored to your role, industry, and interests. Then, visit the Experiences page to discover activities happening across the Dreamforce campus throughout the day.

Review the Session Details: Read the full abstract and three objectives for each session youve selected. This ensures the content aligns with your goals and gives you a head start on the topic.

Reserve Your Seat: For certifications, roundtables, workshops, and hands-on trainings, you may reserve your seat from the Sessions or My Agenda page. You can book as many sessions as youd like, as long as they dont overlap. For workshops, check the session description for equipment requirements some may require a laptop. (Phones or tablets are not recommended.)

Use the Mobile App: Use the Salesforce Events app to navigate the campus, confirm locations, and access closed captions for breakout and theater sessions. Many sessions repeat on different days, so double-check dates and times.

Arrive Early: Session queues open 30 minutes before the published start time. Reserved seats are admitted first; then any remaining seats are offered to the drop-in line on a first-come, first-seated basis. Reserved seats not claimed are released to the drop-in line five minutes before the session begins.

Is favoriting sessions the same as reserved seating?

No, favoriting a session is not the same as reserving a seat in a session.

Favoriting sessions adds sessions of interest to your favorites list. You can filter for Your Favorites in the session catalog on the Sessions page. To favorite a session, select the heart next to the session title and the session will appear in your calendar.

You can reserve your seat for a session on the Sessions page by clicking the Reserve button. This session will then be added to your My Agenda page.

If there is no Reserve option for a reservable session, we suggest arriving early and joining the drop-in line for the opportunity to attend. Any seats available are released to the drop-in line 10 minutes before the session start time.

What does drop-in mean?

If you see Drop-in Only associated with a session, that means either the session is first-come, first-served seating or that this session is at capacity with their reserved seats.

The drop-in line is for attendees who didnt reserve a seat before the event. Arrive to the session early, and once reserved attendees have entered, the remaining seats will be given to the drop-in line.

Is there a limit on how many sessions I can reserve?

You may reserve as many sessions as you like as long as they dont overlap. Meaning, you wont be able to reserve seats in sessions that occur at the same time. If youre unable to reserve a seat for a session, youre encouraged to join the drop-in line, in case a reserved seat is released.

How early should I get to my session?

Session queues open 30 minutes before the published session start time. Reserved seats are seated first, and then the remaining seats are opened to the drop-in line. Any unclaimed reserved seats are released to the drop-in line five minutes before the session start time, and is first-come, first-served seating.

What should I bring to my sessions?

Check individual session descriptions for specific equipment needs:

  • Workshops: You must bring your personal laptop and charger. Phones or tablets are not supported for workshop materials.
  • Headphones: It is recommended to bring a pair of headphones that connect to both your phone and laptop for audio or interactive content throughout campus.

What are Session Summaries and where can I find them?

Session Summaries are short, AI-generated recaps of Dreamforce keynotes, theater sessions, and breakouts. They highlight the key points and takeaways so you can quickly catch up on what you missed.

Session Summaries will appear in three places:

  • In the Salesforce Events mobile app on the session list and session detail pages
  • On the Dreamforce Sessions page
  • In your personalized Event Recap in the Attendee Portal

Do all sessions have a summary and how soon after a session are they available?

Most theater, keynote, and breakout sessions will have summaries. Look for the Session Summary button or icon on the session tile in the schedule. You can also filter the catalog by Missed a Session? > Session Summary to see all available recaps.

Most summaries will be published within 24 hours of a session finishing, often sooner.

Can I give feedback on a summary?

Yes. Each summary includes a Report a Concern link so you can flag issues. Feedback goes directly to the event team for review and resolution.

What if I dont check in on my scheduled arrival date?

If you dont check in to your hotel on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel your entire reservation. The hotel can choose not to reinstate your reservation, even if you arrive the next day. You will also be charged a penalty equal to the cost of one nights room and tax, regardless of whether or not the hotel chooses to reinstate your reservation.

We recommend calling the hotel directly if you experience significant travel delays or your arrival date has shifted. They can help hold your room or modify your reservation based on your updated arrival needs.

Can I pay the hotel with a different credit card than the one I provided when I reserved the room?

Yes, as long as you are the cardholder for the credit card you present at check-in.

Can I pay the hotel with a card that was provided when I reserved the room, which is not in my name?

If the card used as a guarantee for your hotel reservation is not in your name, that cardholder must be present at check-in. A credit card authorization form can also be set up with the hotel before your arrival. Please contact the hotel directly to obtain a credit card authorization form using the contact information found here.

Can I contact the hotel directly to make a hotel reservation and receive the discounted Dreamforce rate or change my existing reservation?

No. To obtain the discounted Dreamforce rates, new reservations and changes must be made through the Registration portal. After Friday, August 21, 2026, any changes to your existing reservation can be made directly with the hotel.

I want to arrive earlier/stay later than the system is showing as available. How can I adjust my reservation?

If your check-in or checkout date is not available when searching for your accommodations, please book the available dates you see at your hotel of choice. Once you have completed a reservation, please contact the Dreamforce Help Desk to request adjusted dates.

The Dreamforce Help Desk operates MondayFriday from 6:00 a.m.6:00 p.m. PT:
