If you grew up watching the Home Alone movies and have dreamed about living the high life like Kevin McCallister, your wish might just come true this holiday season.
The iconic The Plaza Hotel, the place where Kevin lived the high life for a day, eating ice cream, watching TV and wracking up a $967 room service bill while he was at it, is offering a new Home Alone 2: Fun in New York package based on the second movie in the franchise, where all the die-hard fans can put themselves into Kevin's shoes.
But what exactly will the package entail? And surely it won't cost as much as Kevin's massive bill, will it? That remains to be seen, as packages do in fact include a room and some additional amenities.

If you book the package, which can only be done through The Plaza Hotel, not third-party websites, you'll be treated to a four-hour private limousine ride that will take you to all of the iconic spots Kevin visited in the cherished film. You'll get to see the Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, Central Park, Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall.
However, it isn't a guided tour it's just a ride that will take you past those spots and around the city. You'll also be treated to a large cheese pizza in the limousine, which is one of Kevin's favorite meals.
And for those who can stomach it, a gigantic Home Alone sundae will be provided when back in the room, which features a whopping 16 scoops of ice cream in all flavors, topped with brownie bits, M&M's, maraschino cherries, chocolate, caramel and raspberry sauces and whipped cream.
As far as the room is concerned, the bed will be "extra large," and you'll have access to "one of those little refrigerators you have to open with a key," the Plaza Hotel's website states.
The cost of each package depends on what kind of room is booked, the website continues, as multiple different kinds of rooms offer the experience, and some are more expensive than others.
If you aren't quick enough to book the package for the holidays, though, don't worry the experience is offered year-round. The only catches are that you have to book the stay at least three days in advance, you can only book with The Plaza and not any other third-party site or service, and it can't be combined with group bookings or other offers. Black-out dates also apply, it states.
