SINGER Cheryl Tweedys stalker has been secretly moved from jail to a psychiatric hospital.
Daniel Bannister, 51, who is also a convicted killer, was sectioned under the Mental Health Act after spending five months in prison.

He was first put in a secure hospital but has now been moved again.
The transfer means Bannister is now being treated as a patient rather than a prisoner, and has round-the-clock access to nurses and psychologists.
It is not clear which psychiatric hospital he was moved into but the transfer brought him under the care of NHS England instead of the Prison Service.

It will cost the taxpayer between 165,000 and 300,000 per year compared to the 60,000 cost of a prison place.
Bannister was jailed for a year last September for leaving pop star Cheryl terrified by turning up for a fourth time at the house she shares with nine-year-old son Bear.
He had breached a restraining order already placed on him.
He was released from prison but was put back behind bars in January after he was discovered to have alcohol in a bail hostel, which was a breach of his conditions.

Pictures showed him, straggly hair tied back, vaping near his bail hostel in South London and chatting to locals at a bus stop.
He has since been moved to a psychiatric hospital.
Bannisters campaign of harassment had started in January 2024.
It then continued after Cheryls former partner, One Direction star Liam Payne, died falling from a balcony in Argentine capital Buenos Aires in October that year.

A court last year was told Bannister believed Cheryl had invited him to her home when he turned up on one occasion.
In 2012, he was jailed for 30 months for the manslaughter of Rajendra Patel, 48, after attacking her at a YMCA hotel in Croydon, South London.
The Ministry of Justice last night declined to comment.
