From friends to lovers, Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns have supported each other through numerous ups and downs over the years.

The former best friend of Kylie Jenner made waves in February 2019 when she and Tristan Thompson kissed while he was dating Khloé Kardashian. Woods and Towns started dating in May 2020 after meeting through friends.

“The right person will bring a lot out of you. We have been friends for a long time,” she told Extra that September. “Naturally, we both connected about losing a parent at a very young age … so it was a very organic relationship that we’d been best friends for a while.”

Towns revealed via Instagram in 2021 that the twosome met through mutual friends “years ago,” but "there was never a kiss or anything” until 2020.

Woods and Towns went Instagram official.

“I found you, then I found me,” she wrote alongside a snap from their tropical getaway at the time.

January 2021

The athlete paid tribute to Woods after she supported him following the loss of his mother and other family members to COVID-19 and a car accident.

"My woman has held me down more than the world knows,” Towns wrote via Instagram Stories. “From my mother and family members dying (1 on her bday in Cabo), getting hit by a drunk driver (was 2pm in the afternoon FYI) in LA this Off-Season and staying with me in the hospital for the night and helping me in rehab, to this stint with COVID she has been there with me every step of the way and stayed ten toes down."

He added: "My love for her knows no bounds and I would be remiss if I don't acknowledge the power a good woman can have in your life. Men, treat your woman like a Queen so she can treat you like a King."

March 2021

Woods shut down allegations that Towns cheated on her after alleged screenshots surfaced of his conversation with another woman – which he claimed were fake.

“So crazy how someone can make fake screenshots and send it to blogs and y’all believe it,” she tweeted. “My relationship is more than solid and I put that on everything.”

Towns fired back at the time too: “A lot of goofies out here with photoshop skills. … So I got the baddest girl in the game and you think I’m gonna waste my energy with anyone else gtfoh! Same haters we got now are gonna be the same ones we have when I put that ring on her finger.”

"A woman that meant so much to me in my life left my life to be replaced by another woman who took that spot," Towns gushed on Peace of Mind with Taraji, referring to his mother and Woods.

The model addressed speculation that she was pregnant after fans thought they spotted a baby Nike shoe box in her Stories.

"It was a gift card box," she clarified. "And no I don't want kids right now nor am I pregnant. I’ve been wearing baggy clothes because it's cold AF!!!"

Woods supported Towns after the Timberwolves beat the Los Angeles Clippers on the anniversary of his mother’s death:

“This moment was so special to us because today is the 2 year anniversary of Jackie passing and I know how tough it’s been doing all of this without her ,” she wrote via Instagram. “So proud of you @karltowns … it’s deeper than basketball!!”

For Woods' 25th birthday, Towns gifted her funds for two businesses over a “material” item.

Wood surprised Towns with a refurbished version of his mom’s old car on his 30th birthday.

“During the summer Karl asked me if I could drive any car for a day which one would it be.. I answered and his response was, ‘I wouldn’t pick anything crazy, I just really loved my mom’s car she had when I was a kid,’” Woods wrote via Instagram on November 15, alongside photos and videos of Towns in the car.

“So I went on a mission these past months to find the car, shipped it across the country, got it fixed up and was able to surprise him with it today for his 30th! .”

Woods posted a tribute to Towns after he and the Knicks clinched their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999.

“I’ve watched you make it to the Conference Finals three years in a row,” she wrote via Instagram. “Through every high and low, you’ve kept your head down, stayed optimistic, and remained the most consistent, genuine teammate, family member, and now fiancé. No matter where life takes us, it’s only up from here. NBA Cup Champions, Eastern Conference Champions… and now just 4 more wins. ”
