From 3TUSK/RailwayDepotWorker#27, it seems like BC's RF support of v8 does not work with Railcraft which expects FE. I always thought they are interchangeable in 1.12.2, but perhaps not in all cases.

Using BC v7 and BCFE mod (or something similar) as described in the issue.
