TanStack Devtools version
- @tanstack/react-devtools@0.10.10
- @tanstack/devtools@0.14.0
Framework/Library version
- React 19.2.8
- Vite 8.2.1
- Node.js 24.19.0
- pnpm 11.22.0 with autoInstallPeers: false
Describe the bug and the steps to reproduce it
A consumer that installs @tanstack/react-devtools without peer auto-installation cannot build because @neodrag/core is missing.
@tanstack/devtools@0.14.0 depends on @neodrag/solid@3.0.0-next.11. That package imports @neodrag/core/sortable and declares @neodrag/core@3.0.0-next.11 as a required peer, but @tanstack/devtools does not currently install it.
Steps:
- Set autoInstallPeers: false in pnpm-workspace.yaml.
- Install @tanstack/react-devtools@0.10.10, React, and Vite.
- Render <TanStackDevtools />.
- Run pnpm build.
Vite fails with:
Error: [vite]: Rolldown failed to resolve import "@neodrag/core/sortable" from ".../@neodrag/solid/dist/sortable.js".
Expected behavior
Consumers should only need to install the framework adapter and its documented peers. The Vite build should succeed when peer auto-installation is disabled.
Workaround
Installing @neodrag/core@3.0.0-next.11 manually makes the build pass.
Proposed fix
Add @neodrag/core@3.0.0-next.11 as a direct dependency of @tanstack/devtools.
