Two ways to use it

• Automatic PR improvement: Open or update a ready-for-review, same-repository Java PR. JAIPilot evaluates cleanup, tests, performance, and compatible modernization within that exact change.
• Requested maintenance: On a normal issue, a write-equivalent maintainer can ask for one bounded behavior-preserving task, for example:

JAIPilot is for behavior-preserving Java maintenance—not net-new product features, general application development, workflow changes, or auto-merge.

Safe by construction

The agent receives read-only repository access and never gets GitHub write credentials. An external validator rechecks identity, paths, evidence, the final clean build, and branch freshness before the App opens at most one draft.

10 eligible evaluations per GitHub account or organization during Marketplace validation. Public Maven or Gradle Java repositories, public dependencies, and up to 100 changed files.
