<p>Romain Menegaux is a PhD candidate in computational biology at Mines ParisTech and Institut Curie. He applies machine learning and NLP techniques to genomics. He joined QuantStack part-time in October 2017.</p>

<p>Prior to his PhD, Romain was a quant researcher at Bloomberg.</p>

<p>Romain is one of the authors of the <a href="https://github.com/bqplot/bqplot">bqplot</a> open source visualization library.</p>
