Currently clowder2.0 can manually submit a file to an extractor. However, the lack of an extractor-key and differences between the clowder1.x and clowder2 API mean that the file is not downloaded or actually processed.

Instead of creating a new pyclowder (pyclowder2.0) the current plan is to allow pyclowder to handle both versions of clowder. The scope of this issue is getting a file that is submitted to work to the point where the file is processed and metadata is posted to clowder2.0
