A bare 'python3' is whatever comes first on PATH; on a Homebrew Mac that
interpreter cannot import the packages installed in .datacore/venv.

  1. Semantic search runs: lib/bridge.py, the bridge the Datacore MCP serv… 

    …er calls, adapts Datacortex's own search

datacore_search with method "semantic" looked for lib/bridge.py; it did not
exist, so every semantic request fell back to keyword search (architecture
canvas finding, 2026-10-01). The bridge reads one JSON request on stdin and
answers on stdout: results from datacortex.qa.retriever.search over the spaces
that have embeddings, or a refusal code the server turns into a plain reason
(no_index, no_model, bad_request, failed). It never downloads a model during a
request (offline by default) and only lets the answer reach stdout.

lib/ is ignored as a Python build directory, so the bridge is force-added; the
server's path (modules/datacortex/lib/bridge.py) is fixed on its side.

tests/test_semantic_bridge.py: 7 tests, red before (file missing), green after.
