<p>This module contains functions to handle markers. Used by both the

marker functionality of <a class="reference internal" href="axes_api.html#matplotlib.axes.Axes.plot" title="matplotlib.axes.Axes.plot"><tt class="xref py py-obj docutils literal"><span class="pre">plot</span></tt></a> and

<a class="reference internal" href="axes_api.html#matplotlib.axes.Axes.scatter" title="matplotlib.axes.Axes.scatter"><tt class="xref py py-obj docutils literal"><span class="pre">scatter</span></tt></a>.</p>
