Introduction<aclass="headerlink" href="#introduction" title="Permalink to this headline">#

These pages describe a <aclass="reference external" href="https://git-scm.com/">git and <aclass="reference external" href="https://github.com">github workflow for the <aclass="reference external" href="http://matplotlib.org">Matplotlib
project.

This is not a comprehensive git reference, it's just a workflow for our

find better or quicker ways of getting stuff done with git, but these
should get you started.

For general resources for learning git, see <aclass="reference internal" href="git_resources.html#git-resources"><spanclass="std std-ref">git resources.
