Describe the new feature

Recently, an error was thrown on closing the modify table panel, telling the db failed to pass an integrity check. Ouch... It seems I have been able to corrupt the db some how without noticing.

Would it be an idea to check the health of the db on writing/saving the database? I could imagine a preference setting with values: "Ask", "Always", "Never". A popup on save would ask if the checks should be performed if the settings was set to "Ask". The popup question might be enhanced with a "Don't ask again" checkbox.
