Aaron is the Head of Small Axe Studios and an accomplished leader with 21 years of experience in the games industry. Prior to joining 2K, Aaron served as an Executive Producer at Electronic Arts Vancouver, where he led flagship AAA franchises including FIFA (now EA SPORTS FC), Madden, and College Football. He brings deep expertise across executive studio leadership, business, and game design.
Gary is a 22-year veteran in game design and creative leadership. His extensive background is deeply rooted in AAA sports titles, including EA Sports FIFA, FIFA Manager, FIFA Street, and NBA Live. Most recently at Electronic Arts, Gary served as Studio Design Director at Criterion Games, leading design strategy for the iconic Need for Speed franchise.
Tom is a 20-year veteran in the games industry. He has led AAA development teams from an operations perspective across a variety of sports games at Electronic Arts such as UEFA Champions League, SSX, Tennis, NHL, UFC and FIFA. In his last role at Electronic Arts, Tom was a Group Development Director on FIFA.
Mike is a 22-year veteran in the games industry. He has considerable experience building game engines and has been Technical Director for AAA titles such as NHL, UFC and has run advanced technology teams. In his last role at Electronic Arts, Mike was Studio TD for Ridgeline Games.
Brent brings 25-years in animation across games and film. He spent 14 years at Relic Entertainment as Principal Animator and Animation Director, shipping Age of Empires IV, the Company of Heroes series and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. Before games, he was Lead Animator and Previs Supervisor at Prime Focus World, with film credits including Watchmen and Superman Returns.
Karl is a 22-year veteran in the games industry. He has considerable experience in art direction, visual development and leading multidisciplinary teams across AAA strategy, action and sports games. Most recently, he was Art Director on Homeworld 3 and Crossfire Legion, where he led art teams from concept through production. Throughout his career, Karl has contributed to acclaimed titles including Company of Heroes, Dawn of War, Deserts of Kharak, Sleeping Dogs, Turok, Academy of Champions and Pure Futbol.
John is a 25-year veteran in game development specializing in technical art leadership. In his previous roles as Technical Art Director at Electronic Arts Vancouver, Capcom Vancouver, and Skybox Labs, John led technical art teams across major AAA franchises including FIFA, FIFA Street, NBA Street, Skate and Dead Rising.
Trisha is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) with over a decade of experience across the games industry. She is currently Head of HR at Small Axe Studios, having previously held HR leadership roles at Phoenix Labs, and EA-owned Glu Mobile.
