pyarrow.compute.abs#

pyarrow.compute.abs(x, /, *, memory_pool=None)#

Calculate the absolute value of the argument element-wise.

Results will wrap around on integer overflow. Use function abs_checked if you want overflow to return an error.

Parameters:

xArray-like or scalar-like

Argument to compute function.

memory_poolpyarrow.MemoryPool, optional

If not passed, will allocate memory from the default memory pool.
