pyarrow.compute.coalesce#

pyarrow.compute.coalesce(*values, memory_pool=None)#

Select the first non-null value.

Each row of the output will be the value from the first corresponding input for which the value is not null. If all inputs are null in a row, the output will be null.

Parameters:

*valuesArray-like or scalar-like

Argument to compute function.

memory_poolpyarrow.MemoryPool, optional

If not passed, will allocate memory from the default memory pool.
