pyarrow.compute.add#

pyarrow.compute.add(x, y, /, *, memory_pool=None)#

Add the arguments element-wise.

Results will wrap around on integer overflow. Use function add_checked if you want overflow to return an error.

Parameters:

xArray-like or scalar-like

Argument to compute function.

yArray-like or scalar-like

Argument to compute function.

memory_poolpyarrow.MemoryPool, optional

If not passed, will allocate memory from the default memory pool.
