public static final @NonNull Application getApplication(@NonNull AndroidViewModel receiver)

Returns the underlying Application of the AndroidViewModel.

Works around a Kotlin compilation issue where class hierarchies extending AndroidViewModel (e.g., KotlinViewModel extending JavaViewModel extending AndroidViewModel) incorrectly expose the private application property.
