Get to know MDN better
This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. Its been available across browsers since July 2015.
The autocomplete property of the HTMLInputElement interface indicates whether the value of the control can be automatically completed by the browser. It reflects the <input> element's autocomplete attribute.
A string; the value of the autocomplete attribute ("on", "off", a <token-list>), or the empty string "" if unspecified.
