The Card Simulator is an Android application that emulates contactless payment cards using NFC Host Card Emulation (HCE) technology. It's designed for testing contactless transactions on payment terminals and POS systems without requiring physical test cards.

System Requirements

Android 5.0+ (API 21)

NFC-enabled device

NFC must be enabled in settings

Installation Steps

  1. Download the ZIP file
  2. Extract to get the APK file
  3. Enable "Unknown Sources" in Android settings
  4. Install the APK
  5. Enable NFC in device settings
  6. Open the Card Simulator app
  7. Set Card Simulator as the default payment method when prompted (or go to Settings > Tap & pay > Default payment app)

How to Use

  1. Open the Card Simulator app
  2. Select card type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
  3. Choose transaction scenario
    1. Online Approved
    2. Declined
    3. CVM Options (PIN/Signature/None)
  4. Tap device on payment terminal for contactless transaction
  5. View transaction result on terminal

Security Notes

Testing Only - Not for production use

No Real Payments - Uses pre-recorded test data for contactless transactions

Test Terminals Only - Do not use with live POS systems
