Welcome to Aldan Hotel & Restaurant

Where modern comfort and historic grandeur meet. Originally built as one of Icelands most luxurious hotels and restaurant in 1898 and decades later, it housed the national Sailors-bank and Landsbankinn, for almost a century.

Dlluhs; built in 1883, was originally build as the school for the fast-growing municipality; Seyisfjrur. More than a century later, it was the home of Dlla, a wonderful and important woman for the society of Seyisfjrur.

Snfell, a three-story wooden house built in 1908 situated by the opening the river Fjarar, in the centre of Seyisfjrur. The house early the center of musicians in town, and later it became the local post office and in 1943 it was turned into a hotel.
