A PLACE OF TRADITION AND TIMELESS BEAUTY

With a postcard-perfect position in the foothills of the Serrania de Ronda mountains, just above the Mediterranean Sea, our Marbella golf hotel is surrounded by some of Andalucas most captivating sights and attractions.

As well as world-class golf courses, glitzy marinas and golden-sand beaches, the Costa del Sol has characterful old towns, sleepy pueblos blancos and rugged landscapes ripe for exploring. Expect a lively time: this is the part of Spain where flamenco and tapas originated and that has a feria (fair) for just about every occasion.

OUR FAVOURITE PLACES TO GO

Our luxury holiday apartments, which are set between Marbella, Benahavis and Estepona, make the perfect launchpad for discovering all that the vibrant region has to offer.

Benahavis – 6.9km away

Our resort is just outside Benahavis, a mountain village with historic, white-washed buildings, crumbling hillside castle and plenty of traditional charm. Widely regarded as the “Gastronomic Corner of the Costa del Sol” it offers some fantastic restaurants, with its proximity to the sea and the mountains lending character to a way of cooking that beckons foodies to immerse themselves in the many local delights.

Puerto Banus – 10km away

Join the jet-set crowd at this bustling marina, just a 15 minute drive from our resort, where super-yachts and designer boutiques dazzle. It has buzzing bars, upscale restaurants, lovely beaches and glam beach clubs too. If youre looking for night life, this is the place to be after dark.

Estepona – 16km away

Theres a lot to love about Estepona, an elegant seaside resort in the western part of the Malaga province. Stretch out on its sandy beaches, splash out on a waterside lunch on the marina or potter around its pretty parks and characterful old quarter, complete with cobbled streets and sleepy squares.

Marbella Old Town – 18km away

Just 20 minutes drive away from our resort, Marbellas handsome old town is made for ambling around. Lose yourself in its romantic little laneways, admire age-old monuments, shop until you drop in chichi boutiques and stop for cold drinks and lingering meals in shady flower-filled squares.

Ojen – 25km away

Sitting pretty in the foothills of the Serrania de Ronda, Ojen has an easy, laid-back charm. Wander around to get a feel for authentic Spain, passing by white-washed, bougainvillea-covered buildings which tumble down its sloped streets. One of the best ways to soak up the traditional ambience of this adorable old town is by tucking into regional treats in its long-running tapas bars.

Manilva – 27km away

A hidden gem on the Costa del Sol, just west along from Estepona, Manilva sits just back from the coast amid vineyards. Winemaking is a longstanding tradition in this historic town, which celebrates the harvest with an annual festival every autumn. As you explore you can admire soaring views across the Strait of Gibraltar.

Sotogrande – 41km away

An exclusive residential resort on Costa del Sols southern tip, Sotogrande is home to many A-listers and is a must-visit on any Marbella golf holiday. Along with sprawling mansions and grand gated communities, it has golf courses, tennis clubs, bike tracks, a marina, water sports, beaches, high-end restaurants and ultra-chic beach clubs.

Ronda – 53km away

Head inland and youll soon discover Andalucas famously picturesque pueblos blancos (white villages) like Ronda, just an hour away. Set high in the Serrania de Ronda, this ravishing old town is built across a deep ravine. Admire its historic bridge, which runs across the gorge, then drink in the sweeping views from the restaurants and bars either side of the chasm.

Gibraltar – 63km away

Only an hours drive away from your self-catering holiday apartment in Marbella and you can cross into another part of the world. Gibraltar, the British Overseas Territory set on a rocky peninsula in the far south of mainland Spain, makes a brilliant day trip. Go tax-free shopping, have a pint, meet the Barbary macaques, spot birds galore or delve into the Rocks caves and tunnels to uncover its fascinating history.
