Fashion firm Balenciaga is flogging a roll of tape bracelet for 3,000. The accessory crafted to resemble a transparent Scotch tape is part of Balenciagas autumn/winter 2024-25 collection.
One fashion social media page said: The luxury fashion house Balenciaga has once again sparked debate with its latest accessory, a bracelet designed to resemble a roll of clear tape, complete with the brands logo and a hefty price tag.

One social media user said: Balenciaga is a social experiment of selling rich people senseless stuff..
Another posted: Rich people want to feel poor so bad.
Others just went with the joke.
I just bought one, but its from a small indie brand called Scotch, one TikTok user said.
Fashion commentators say the design plays with the concept of packaging materials as fashion accessories.
The firm is also selling air fresheners that look like clothing tags for around 200 and will also introduce a range of tops that resemble handbag dust covers.
It comes after fashion victims with a load of dough can fork out 2,350 on a pizza delivery box-style bag.
Bonkers fashion firm Balenciaga is flogging the giant bag as part of its new season of creations.
The box is made from calfskin and the monster price tag would take a big bite out a buyers bank balance.
The potty Spanish brands website boasts the cube accessory is made from 100% smooth calfskin and has a Balenciaga logo printed on top.
But not everyone wants to get a slice of the action as some have suggested it looks like something a delivery driver would have.
One commenter, said: More than 2 grand for this? Get one from a Deliveroo driver and paint it black for a fraction of the price.
That's not all either as Balenciaga is also cleaning up by charging silly suds 185 for a bar of SOAP.
They are rinsing fashionistas for a black-coloured bar of body wash.
But it does come in a resin box bearing the firms logo.
Buyers could get the feeling they are being taken to the cleaners after parting with close to 200 for a bathroom staple.
