'I get bullied for how I look but I got the last laugh against nasty trolls'

Model Sophia Hadjipanteli, 28, has appeared in Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar, but continues to face criticism over her distinctive unibrow look - but now she's got the last laugh

A model got the last laugh at London Fashion Week after facing ridicule for her striking unibrow. Sophia Hadjipanteli, 28, has graced the pages of prestigious magazines including Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Times, and Vanity Fair.

Yet, regardless of her achievements, she has encountered harsh criticism regarding her appearance. Nevertheless, she persists in celebrating her distinctive look - recently strutting down the catwalk at London Fashion Week and demonstrating her refusal to be shaped by detractors.

Speaking to StyleLikeU, Sophia revealed that her mother was the inspiration behind her trademark unibrow, constantly advising her against plucking her eyebrows during her youth. She recalled: "Growing up, my mum was like, 'Don't you dare touch your eyebrows. I don't care what anyone else is doing - do not touch them.'".

Sophia noted that her perception of "ideal beauty" stemmed from her mother, whose own brows remain naturally full.

Despite vicious remarks online, she keeps an upbeat perspective. She remarked: "It's just the way I like it to look. And I think this is the same with everything in my life. If I like the way it looks, I will damn well do it."

In a recent Instagram post, Sophia expressed gratitude to queer artist and designer Grete Henriette for her "beautiful mind" while posing for a photoshoot and taking to the runway in a stunning gown.

Responding to the post, one follower commented: "Slay Queen." Another added: "WOW, WOW, WOW."

Meanwhile, on StyleLikeU's YouTube Short showcasing Sophia, one viewer remarked: "I wish - I basically have no eyebrows."

Another posted: "Beautiful. I have thick brows too." A third said: "Wow! How can I get thick eyebrows like you?"

However, others were less complimentary.

One stated: "She has the right to have them like that, but she should know it's the only thing people see when they look at her. It takes away from her face, style and personality, and that is a shame."

Another posted: "Is this a joke?" A final commenter observed: "Being pretty with a quirky feature is edgy. Sadly, that's not the case for everyone."

Separately, King Charles III made an appearance at London Fashion Week on Thursday despite his brother's dramatic arrest earlier that day. As he stepped from his vehicle, Charles beamed and gestured to crowds assembled behind barriers.

Whilst there was some clapping and a few subdued murmurs of disapproval, numerous spectators concentrated on capturing him with their mobile devices. One television reporter called out a question regarding Andrew, but the King remained silent and composed as he entered the venue.
