An underwear-clad US politician has been caught on camera shouting and threatening people while on holiday in Hawaii - before getting knocked out.
Kirill Basin, 40, was spotted flying into a rage at Keawakapu Beach in South Kihei on the island of Maui when other beach lovers asked him if he could turn his music down a bit.
The request quickly escalated into a row that was captured on camera as Basin confronted a group of beachgoers before retreating and saying: I told him if he wants to go to the hospital, come here.
The wannabe congressional candidate then got into an altercation with a large tattooed man. At one point Basin tried to swing a beach chair at him, before he received a right-handed punch which knocked him out cold.
The larger man then went on to Basins sternum until he woke up before telling him: Watch your f***king mouth, Haole [a pejorative term islanders call white people] boy."
However Basin appeared not to get the message, as he then was spotted running at the larger man, shouting: "Come on, b***h!
It is then alleged Basin pulled a knife on the man, which witnesses claim he later tossed into the sea. He also claimed he had a gun, as per bystanders. Police later recovered the knife.
Basin has been charged with two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening and he remains in custody with bail set at $1 million.
This is not the Democratic congressional candidates first run-in with the law.
It is reported he pulled a gun on officials in May, threatening two Maui County workers, after storming a government building in Wailuku, as per Civil Beat. The wild move landed him in handcuffs and charged with terrorist threatening in the first degree.
It is thought that this run-in with the law is the same one that Basin bizarrely referenced on social media last Thursday, the day before his latest arrest.
In that Instagram post, Basin claimed that police had tortured him.
He said: "This is the lawsuit I served today. It basically outlines how three police officers tortured me for 14 hours. Thats the gist. Itll never happen to anyone again.
