Vladimir Putin's so-called 'end of the world radio' has sent out at least 20 chilling coded messages. The mysterious Doomsday Radio is believed to be used to send top secret messages to his army of spies and military chiefs.
Yesterday the Cold War era station emitted a series of sounds amid fears Putin is planning a "false flag" attack against the West.
Named the UVB-76, the radio is believed to be linked to the countrys nuclear weapon codes. The purpose of the Doomsday Radios messages remains unclear with the words released including AMILLOKUS, VOLOKITA and FLUSOBOB.
Others translated vaguely into SPRING, SUPPORT and RUBBING. A Doomsday radio monitoring channel said: There are currently airbase training exercises going on, which is why there are so many messages.
Theres no need to panic.
The messages came amid chilling warnings that Putin could be preparing an attack on the West. Polands foreign minister Radosaw Sikorski wrote on X: "This sounds like an announcement of a provocation. I expect an attack on Russian territory under a false flag, to which Putin will then respond.
"I would remind you that in August 1939 the Abwehr staged a Polish attack on the radio station in Gleiwitz in order to create a pretext for war."
His comments come after Mad Vlad warned Russia will respond to attacks from Europe.
They understand that retaliation will follow. I think everyone understands this, or should understand it, Putin said on Tuesday.
The barrage of secret codes coincided with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky warning of further strikes on Russia.
He said: "There would be new, completely justified steps in response to Russias prolongation of the war and attacks on Ukrainian territory.
Its important that as many Russians as possible understand that the war is being prolonged precisely by the Russian leaderships refusal to engage in diplomacy.
Ukraine has made meaningful diplomatic proposals.
It comes after a huge wave of Russian attacks on Ukraine, including the capital where a major religious landmark, the 11th-century Dormition Cathedral, was targeted.
