Harry's house still many steps away from completion as renovation headaches mount for Styles

Harry needs more than a trip to B&Q for his home improvements

Harry Styles might be in the middle of a huge Wembley stadium residency, but that isn't stopping him doing a bit of major DIY.

In fact the Aperture star is renovating his 30million mansion in Hampstead London at the moment and the latest headache is a rotten old staircase. Harry's house is being transformed from flats back into one massive property, and he had hoped to get it all done by the time his concerts and promotion for current LP were done by October 2027.

However, now the former One Direction hunk is going to need more than a visit to B&Q and is reportedly having to hire experts to revamp his staircase which could delay the project further.

In planning documents obtained by The Sun, it says the condition of the 1734 period piece staircase has deteriorated and suffered from "poor quality repairs" over the years.

As a result Harry is going "to get the very best craftsmen" to revive his stairs which will have to "be taken apart piece by piece" affecting the deadline.

Sounds like Harry wants the staircase As It Was (ahem).

According to reports Harry has appointed heritage carpentry experts to assess the best way to restore the feature and get his an 18th century Georgian mansion ready for his post tour relax.

Harry, who dates actress Zoe Kravitz, 37, has included a basement cinema, pool and gym into his revamp, but the stairs are proving to be the bigger headache.

Harry was jogging to his Wembley Together Together shows, sometimes from home, but as he reaches the halfway stage the summer heat has changed those plans.

Fans attending his shows are also allowed to bring bottles into the stadium as organisers relax rules to keep people safe during the heatwave.

After his Together Together residencies Harry has a clean slate but insiders do expect him to announce more gigs for 2027, possibly at festivals.

Before then he kicks off a massive run at New York's Madison Square Gardens with support from Jamie XX.

Hazza will play a whopping 30 gigs in the Big Apple from September onwards which should give the builders plenty of time to get their work done.
