He may have been knighted but Sir Paul McCartney wasn't always a saint - The Beatles legend has recalled how he once set fire to a condom as an 'act of defiance' aimed at those in charge of the band.
The 83-year-old appeared on influencer Amelia Dimoldenberg's iconic YouTube show Chicken Shop Date to promote his 20th studio album The Boys of Dungeon Lane, and he reflected on his previous rebellious behaviour.
Paul revealed: "We were in Hamburg, and it was me and our old drummer, Pete Best, and we were rooming together - it was really dingy, like cement walls and everything.
"It was terrible. We used to cover ourselves with this Union Jack...
"So as we were leaving, there was really bare walls, but there was a nail on the wall.
"So, as an act of defiance at these terrible lodgings, Pete had a condom on him, and so, we took it out, and we lit it!
"And they go up quite well."
He joked "you haven't lived until you've burnt a condom."
Elsewhere in the video Paul was asked if he'd ever get a tattoo and replied "no" but said he finds it "cute" when fans get inkings in his honour.
The iconic musician also admitted he's always "been hoping" that a fan would ask him to sign their "butt", adding "I haven't signed a butt".

When pressed on who his favourite Beatles bandmate is, Paul joked that he and Ringo Starr, 85, are the only surviving members, replying: "Well, there's only one left. Now, currently, it's Ringo."
However, back in the day he had a favourite of the fab four, he admitted: "During The Beatles, I think we all used to look up to John [Lennon]; he was like the leader, even though there wasn't officially a leader of the group.
"He was very witty, and he was great to have in the group. I think all of us might have said John."
